Freeview is the UK's new Digital TV service. It replaces the old analogue services which are due to be switched off nationwide by 2012.

With many more channels and Digital quality sound Freeview sets new standards for home viewing through your aerial, and because digital TV signals are more efficient they use less space making room for many more channels for your entertainment. As you can see from the list of channels on the right you get much more choice with digital TV.

Because the new digital system has more channels certain areas may need to change their existing aerials to a wide band type if currently using a non wideband type or if you are experiencing some channels missing. The quality of your cabling makes all the difference and should be of a screened type to avoid interference, drop off of channels, and poor signal strength.
